① Preparation Stage‌First, straighten the fishing net and place it upright. Hold the top of the net with your left hand and grab a corner of the bottom with your right hand‌.

② Hold the rope end in your right hand, fold the rope section by section and hold it in your right hand. Lift the net up naturally so that it hangs down. Depending on the length of the net, the folded length will vary but the common point is that the lower half of the net hangs about one meter from the ground. Put the upper half in your right hand as well. Use your left hand to lift a corner with a net hook underneath and place it in your right hand. Stretch out your left hand about one meter away from this net hook and hold the net open in a fan shape with both hands. Open your hands holding the net, turn your body to the right and then turn forward again. Throw the net forcefully with your right hand while releasing it with your left hand at the same time. When retracting the net, it's the same as with a loop; pull the rope back, pull up the net, and take out the fish inside ‌ ③ Netting Techniques ‌ Whether it's a net with or without a ring, when retracting the net, pull the rope back, lift the net up, and take out the fish inside ‌ ④ Through the above steps and techniques, you can effectively use the American-style hand-thrown net for casting and retrieval operations
